Visiting Assistant Professor in Religious Studies

The Siena College Religious Studies Department invites applications for a one-year replacement position at the Assistant Professor level starting Fall 2021. The teaching load is 4/4. In Fall 2021, the successful candidate will teach three sections of RELG 181--Experiences of the Sacred and one section of RELG 260--Religion and Moral Decision. A commitment both to excellence in teaching and to an active research program is essential. We expect all candidates to meet the Department's expectations as expressed in its mission statement and student learning goals.

We require a Ph.D. (or Ph.D. in hand by September 1) in comparative ethics or closely related fields, preferably with a specialty in Asian religions. A background screening will be required.
