Position Summary:

This position will provide coverage for any DFMCH Clinics as a Float physician. The physician will provide the full spectrum of family medicine skills and patient care. This position will also be involved in clinical teaching of medical students and other learners.

Principal Duties:

Provision of clinical care for patients at residency and/or community clinics. Duties may include clinical teaching of medical students and other learners, as well as administrative duties. Individuals may also be called upon to fill clinical needs at UW Health Urgent Care Centers.

The preferred candidate will either have experience teaching and working with a diverse population or will welcome a commitment to teaching and working with a diverse population.

MD or DO

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Successful completion of a fully accredited Family Medicine Residency Program.
Clinical experience preferred.

License or Certificate:

Wisconsin medical licensure required prior to start date.
Certification by or eligible for certification by American Board of Family Medicine.
