Job Description:

The Manager, Part-time Staffing will perform processes associated with hiring steps for adjuncts, part-time workers, volunteers, students, and contingent workers. Assists with assignment of activity pay by obtaining required documents within the human capital management (HCM) system. The Manager will coordinate requirements with hiring managers for documentation and processing needs for new and returning adjuncts. Coordinates with the College department assigning students for employment under federal financial aid, and for departmental budgeted student assistants. Serves as liaison to the out-sourced temporary employment agency for established assignments. Works with accounts payable for timely and accurate payments to the temporary employment agency. Provides supervision to staff supporting this role. Reports to the Director, Human Resources.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, and two years’ work experience in human resources, office management/supervision of employee processes, recruitment and staffing, or related functions. Successful results of a criminal background check are required.

Pursuant to College policy, it is an employment eligibility requirement for an applicant to meet the requirements of § 435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations. Any person failing to meet the requirements of the statute will be deemed not qualified to hold employment in this position. A Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate as a condition of employment, and any person who fails to disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application will be disqualified from employment.

SALARY RANGE: $33,730.00 - $40,000.00
