The Department of Marketing in the W. P. Carey School of Business at ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY invites applications for a Clinical Professor, open rank (Assistant, Associate, or Full), non-tenure track position, beginning August 2021. 

Essential Functions: Contribute to the school’s mission in the areas of teaching and service. Participate in teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses and curriculum development related to both general marketing, marketing research and statistics. Engage in service activities focused primarily on assisting with student organizations, Honors theses, and participating on department, W. P. Carey School of Business, and/or University committees.    

Required Qualifications:

Clinical Assistant Professor – 1) A Ph.D. in Marketing, Business Administration or related field; 2) Demonstrated potential for teaching excellence at the undergraduate and/or graduate level as evidenced by organization and communication skills or strong teaching evaluations; 3) A record of scholarship as evidenced by professional experience within the marketing profession, an active learning agenda, and papers or articles.

Clinical Associate Professor – 1) Ph. D. in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; 2) The equivalent of 5 years of full-time teaching at a 4-year institution. Demonstrated teaching excellence at the undergraduate and/or graduate level as evidenced by good teaching evaluations, course innovation, organization and communication skills; 3) A record of scholarship as evidenced by professional and/or academic experience within the marketing profession, an active learning agenda, and papers or articles.

Clinical Professor – 1) A Ph.D. in Marketing, Business Administration or related field; 2) Sustained long-term excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level as evidenced by strong teaching evaluations, course innovation, organization and communication skills; 3) The equivalent of 7 years of full-time teaching at a 4-year institution. Demonstrated leadership record of scholarship as evidenced by professional and/or academic experience within the marketing profession, an active learning agenda and papers or articles.

Desired Qualifications:

1) Excellence in teaching courses in marketing, especially those associated with marketing research; 2) Demonstrated ability to teach general statistics to graduate students; 3) Teaching experience in a variety of platforms, including in-person, online, graduate and undergraduate levels. 4) Evidence of ability to innovate and work collaboratively to achieve goals.
