PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in related field
• Five years of experience in the field of Video and Audio Production, including the use and maintenance of media equipment, video camera operation and/or media production and editing
• Five years of experience with editing and production tools such as Final Cut Pro X, Motion, Logic, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, Audition, DaVinci Resolve, and OBS
• Five years of experience working with green screen and Chroma Keying video
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work with a variety of diverse populations in a positive manner
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds from floor to waist, negotiate stairs while hauling equipment, stand on a ladder and work in cramped equipment/cable areas
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Excellent customer service, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of video recording techniques and advanced understanding of signal flow for both audio and video
• Experience with live streaming and webcasting to online platforms and social media
• Experience with multi camera video production setups
• Have up to date knowledge of the latest shooting trends and technology
• Working knowledge of Mac and PC computers
• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
• Ability to work with a variety of diverse populations in a positive manner
• FAA Drone Pilots License

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinates video production support for the campus, media services department, and studio.
- Discusses media production needs with clients to determine program content and structure.
- Independently produces, sets up, records, captures, and edits media production projects and media-related materials, including digital videos, audio files, and other electronic media.
- Provides scripting storyboarding and other pre-production documentation.
- Oversees the upkeep of studio, production racks, camera kits, and production event spaces.
- Maintains compliance with ADA and ensures all viewable public videos are closed-captioned.
- Sets up and operates live video and audio production equipment for live stream and prerecorded events which include the use of the Black Magic Design ATEM PRO 4K video switch and live production equipment.
- Assists with the installation and operation of audio/visual systems on campus.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
