Position Summary
Reporting to the Head Women's Basketball Coach, this position manages the efficient operation of the women's basketball office. Responsibilities include coordinating team travel, acting as liaison with department support services, assisting in the management of all aspects of basketball camps and clinics, and overseeing game day activities. At the direction of basketball coaching staff, this position will also assist with the coordination of recruiting visits. The Director of Women's Basketball Operations must adhere to all departmental policies and procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the university, the Pac-12 Conference and the NCAA.
This position will require weekend and evening work hours to ensure program needs are met.
Minimum Requirements - Bachelor's degree.
- Three years of administrative intercollegiate athletic program
experience in Division I, Power 5 Conference.
Professional Competencies - Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications - Master's degree in sports management or related
field.
- Budget management experience.
- NCAA rules and interpretations experience.
- Knowledge of the University of Oregon Athletic
