About the Opportunity:
Reporting to the Associate Dean of Administration and Finance, the Assistant Dean of Graduate Administration will oversee all aspects of the Khoury Graduate School Administration. Along with the Executive Director of Khoury in the Network, they will be responsible for strategic planning to guide the initiation and the implementation of graduate programs, all of which are currently at various levels of implementation. The Assistant Dean will also work closely with the Director of Graduate Operations overseeing the graduate admissions team.

The Assistant Dean will oversee all aspects of new program launches, regional program deployment, non-degree/workshops, and unique credit bearing offerings; usher new/revised programs through all university approval processes, including drafting program proposals, organizing market research, and developing program projections; liaison between the Graduate School and all University offices pertaining to the Khoury Graduate School and NUGlobal network; provide critical information to the College Dean's regarding enrollments, retention and projections for forecasting of budget. Prepare reports and analyses of applicants for the Dean, Associate Deans, MS Program Directors, and the Graduate Faculty Committee. They will recommend and assist the Dean's in the assessment of the effectiveness of all existing programs and initiatives. They will also provide policy and operational support for all Khoury PhD programs, working closely with the Associate Dean for Graduate Programs, the Assistant Director of Online Programs, Assistant Director of Graduate Advising & Student Services and the Sr. Communications Specialist. They oversee online education activities, including the creation/deployment of new online courses, establishing new external partnerships for online course offerings, assisting program directors in course implementation and evaluation, and the expansion of program offerings by the Khoury College of Computer Sciences.

The Assistant Dean will supervise a full time Director of Graduate Operations, Graduate Admissions Staff, Assistant Director of Online Programs, Assistant Director of Graduate Advising & Student Services and the Sr. Communications Specialist.

Master's degree required along with 5-7 years of professional work experience, ideally in higher educational setting

Demonstrated skill in management, personnel supervision, data collection and analysis, and multitasking

Have a passion for program innovation

Experience in career development or experiential learning a plus.

Excellent skills in relationship building, and data base management preferred.

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, database programs and data management and analysis.
