Position Summary:

The Department of Ophthalmology, Fundus Photograph Reading Center (FPRC) seeks a collaborative individual to manage organization of clinical research studies. The incumbent will be responsible for initiating multiple ophthalmic clinical research trials establishing an audit trail compliant with FPRC SOPs, UW, FDA and NIH regulations. In addition, monitoring of workload, backlogs and providing status updates to both the clients and FPRC staff is also required.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

BA or BS is required.
BA or BS in Biological or related sciences is preferred.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

At least one year research experience preferred.
Experience in clinical trials is preferred.
Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work as part of a team and individually required.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, including the ability to produce clear, accurate content required.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines required.
