Position Summary:

The Graduate Medical Education (GME) Program Administrator is jointly responsible with Program Directors for accreditation and compliance of all education programs and residents/fellows in their programs. The GME Program Administrator supervises education staff and works closely with Program Directors and other faculty.

It is the GME Program Administrator's responsibility to provide operational oversight and strategic implementation of programmatic priorities to ensure high quality GME programs. The GME Program Administrator serves as the subject matter expert in the field of GME, with oversight responsibility for recruitment, credentialing, curriculum, evaluation, accreditation, compliance, fiscal, and reporting processes. The GME Program Administrator works under general supervision of the Department Administrator.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Completion of a masters degree in Education or closely related field is required.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

More than four (4) years experience of relevant higher education experience and demonstrated leadership and management preferred.
