The Department of Economics and Finance in the Langdale College of Business Administration invites applications for a non-tenure track faculty position beginning August 1, 2021. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in the candidate’s area of expertise.

Teaching at the undergraduate level and providing service to the College, University, profession, and regional business community. Primary teaching areas are data analytics, macroeconomics, microeconomics, and international economics.
- Master’s degree at the time of appointment in economics, finance, or data analytics from an AACSB-accredited institution of higher education or member institution or other internationally accredited institution; a terminal degree is not required but will be accepted in lieu of a master’s degree;
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and learning;
- Commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Scholarly activity appropriate to the applicant’s career stage and degree level;
- A record of effective teaching appropriate to the applicant’s career stage;
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative setting;
- A record of mentoring students of diverse backgrounds.
