American University's Kogod School of Business invites applications for section leaders, an adjunct faculty appointment, to teach in the Kogod School of Business Online Graduate degree programs.

Degrees offered online include Master of Business Administration, Master of Science Business Analytics, Master of Science Marketing Analytics, and Master of Science International Relations and Business.

The position responsibilities include teaching live sessions in our online Master's programs over the Zoom platform and the 2KSB LMS, supporting students and collaborating with the coordinating faculty and other section leaders to provide a high quality interactive learning experience for students. Teaching modules are 10 weeks and each week the faculty member leads the live sessions, holds online office hours, provides assignment feedback, and consults with the designated coordinating faculty on the progress of the class. The live sessions complement the asynchronous lectures and faculty are expected to coordinate session activities with asynchronous content. Areas of instruction include, but are not limited to, accounting, analytics, business law, finance, information technology, international business, management, and statistics.

Successful candidates will hold at least a master's degree in their area of expertise and relevant professional experience. Ph.D Preferred. Teaching experience at the college level is highly preferred though not required. Course assignments and schedules will depend on the selected candidate's profile and strengths.
