Assistant, Associate, Full Professor at the University of Florida. The University of Florida, Department of Medicine is seeking applications for a full-time clinical track position for medical oncologists at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level within the Division of Hematology & Oncology. This faculty position will be based at our University teaching hospital and at our immediately adjacent VA Hospital, with a Joint faculty appointment at the Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center possible for the interested candidate. Both of these sites serve a designated shortage area and/or a medically under-served area/population.

The UF Division of Hematology and Oncology is aligned with, and our faculty are members of, the UF Health Cancer Center, providing novel clinical research, innovative treatments, and compassionate care for individuals facing all types of cancer and hematologic diseases. The UF Department of Medicine is a national leader in cancer. UF Health Shands Hospital has been recognized as one of the best hospitals in Florida. In addition, the U.S. News & World Report’s 2019-2020 ranked UF Health Shands Hospital among the nation’s Top 50 in 9 adult and 3 pediatric specialties:

This faculty position will be based at our main UF Health campus in Gainesville, Florida. Applicants must be board-certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology and be eligible for a Florida Medical License.
