Job Summary
This position prepares vouchers, requisitions, professional services contracts and collection reports. The position also reconciles P card transaction for all Mechanical Eng Faculty and Staff.
Reviews, investigates and corrects errors in financial entries
Assists Faculty and Staff with any questions regarding AU spending policies.
Essential Functions
Performs purchasing card reconciliation. Communicates with P cardholders to get invoices and FOPs in a timely manner. Self-audit P card for FOP accuracy and balance.
Process all vouchers. Vendor vouchers, travel vouchers, journal vouchers, collection reports, requisitions, professional service contract. Invoices and other vouchers will be processed using banner software. File vouchers electronically and/or in a filing cabinet.
Responds to PBS P card audits and assist in resolving any issues. Follow up with P cardholder if PBS inquires about a P card transaction.
Assists with account reconciliation process. All department accounts are reconciled in a monthly basis and email to the respective faculty and staff. .Reviews accounts for potential Departmental Error Correction by reviewing a balance report. Identify errors and correct them.
