Minimum Qualifications
The Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach will assist the head coach in all aspects of daily operations of a Division I intercollegiate women’s basketball program, works within the Department of Athletics, and corresponds with parents, recruits, visiting teams, and community members.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree: Collegiate coaching experience including demonstrated experience in the recruiting process of qualified student-athletes
- Thorough knowledge of NCAA regulations
- Knowledge of and prior experience with administration of collegiate team travel
- Strong organizational, communication, and public relations skills; and computer proficency
The Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach will assist the head coach in all aspects of daily operations of a Division I intercollegiate women’s basketball program, works within the Department of Athletics, and corresponds with parents, recruits, visiting teams, and community members.
This position will assist with:
- Instructs the women’s basketball team assigned fundamentals and skills necessary for a successful program
- Player development; overseeing the academic progress of student-athletes
- On-court coaching
- On and off campus recruiting; scouting
- Practice and game planning/preparation
- Budget management
