    Department Summary
    The Lundquist College of Business is one of seven schools housing academic programs on the University of Oregon campus. The College works cooperatively with other UO Colleges and Schools to prepare students for a broad range of career paths. There are approximately 50 full-time faculty members, 48 instructors and pro tem instructors, 40 administrative positions, 30 staff members, 1,200 undergraduate majors, 2,250 pre-business majors, 1,200 undergraduate minors, 170 master's students and 30 doctoral students.

    The School of Accounting, Lundquist College of Business, University of Oregon is seeking to fill one faculty position at the Instructor level. Employment begins September 16, 2021. Employment is continuous and summer appointments may be available.

    Position Summary
    This position will teach up to eight courses at either the graduate or undergraduate level (80%) with the balance of the position being service (20%). Courses may be related to financial accounting, managerial accounting, or auditing. Course load to be adjusted based on additional scholarship and/or instructional duties assigned by Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs.

    Minimum Requirements
  • Masters in Business Administration or Accounting
  • Experience teaching at the undergraduate level

    Professional Competencies
  • Demonstrated interest, experience and/or ability to promote cultural competency and/or diversity
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills

    Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching at both undergraduate and graduate level
  • Experience teaching in large lecture settings
