This position will assist with the overall coordination and logistics of newly funded gene discovery project for neurodegenerative diseases. Duties will include cell culture and mouse work and research analysis and interpretation. The individual will work with Dr. Ranum as well as scientists and staff involved in the project to make sure all milestones are achieved, coordinate submission of regulatory paperwork, assist with the design and implementation of the experiment plan and help draft publications.

This is a non-tenure accruing position.

PhD in the field of molecular biology with multiple years of experience working with microsatellite repeat diseases and repeat-associated non-ATG (RAN) translation.
