Yaşar University, a non-profit foundation university located in Izmir, Turkey, invites applications for full-time faculty positions at the rank of assistant professor, associate professor and full professor in the newly established Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies.

The Faculty offers four programs leading to the BSc (bachelor’s) degree in

• Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness,
• Animal Sciences and Technologies,
• Plant, Soil Sciences and Cultivation,
• Agricultural Machinery and Technologies Engineering.

The successful candidate will possess the willingness to use his or her expertise to assist in the university’s efforts to be a sustainable academic organization committed to excellence.

The qualified candidates

• Must have a PhD in appropriate areas of agricultural sciences/technologies, natural resources or related fields 
• Are expected to provide academic support to the areas of agricultural sciences/technologies and natural resources as well as environment and ecology, biological sciences, chemistry, engineering and computer sciences
• Will also have a combination of strong scholarship and teaching experience and the ability to work on a team
• Must have relevant professional experience and a record of successful teaching
• Should participate in student advisement, curriculum development, student activities and faculty-wide committees
• Are expected to involve in research grants processes and expand extramurally funded research with demonstrated experience
• Should work with the University community to promote graduate programs
