The College of Education and Human Development at Western Michigan University is a diverse and vibrant institution of professional education, preparing individuals annually for leadership in their fields. The college is comprised of six departments with approximately 110 regular full-time faculty serving 2,000 undergraduate and over 1,100 graduate students, with majors enrolled in programs leading to bachelor's, master’s, specialist’s and doctoral degrees. The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching has placed WMU as one of the doctoral universities with high research activity. The College of Education and Human Development is seeking candidates for the following faculty positions:

Board-Appointed Tenure-Track Academic Year Faculty Positions

For the following three positions, responsibilities include teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses; engagement in scholarly activity; and service to the department, college, and university.

Assistant Professor Counselor Education

Degree Requirement: Earned doctorate in Counselor Education from a CACREP accredited program from an accredited institution

Assistant Professor Counselor Education

Degree Requirements: Earned doctorate in Counselor Education from a CACREP accredited program from an accredited institution.

Assistant Professor Human Performance Health Education

Degree Requirements: Earned doctorate in health education from an accredited institution.
