The College of Professional Studies (UC) will be launching a new Office of Executive Education and hiring a Director. This new office will need a professional staff member to manage the daily operations of the office and assist with administration, marketing, promotion, and programming support. Due to the nature of the work planned for this office, time spent on tasks will shift substantially over the course of a given year.


• Bachelor’s degree and demonstrated experience in a position related to higher education administration.

• Experience with digital marketing and social media desired.

• Experience with budgeting, HR, facilities, and events also desired.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.

Job Specific Qualifications

• Fluent in Microsoft Office suite programs.

• Flexibility and agility in a truly dynamic and fast-paced team-oriented work environment where outcomes at an exceptional level are the expectation.

• Maintain a high level of attention to detail and student confidentiality.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written & verbal including the ability to present to large or small groups.

• Ability to handle multiple projects with variable deadlines that change over time.

• Experience and knowledge of the various aspects of student services in higher education.

• The ability to work with internal and external partners to support the various needs of program participants and clients.

• Experience monitoring budgets.


• Manage, develop, and execute the online application and enrollment management processes for all Executive Education programs including review of applications for program admission (when applicable).

• Develop marketing and promotional materials and work with the Syracuse University Global marketing team in the creation and delivery of email communications and social media posts/campaigns to prospective and confirmed participants and organizations.

• Manage relationships with University offices and departments to establish, plan for, and deliver necessary operational and business service needs for all Executive Education and non-credit courses and programs.

• Support program faculty logistically for course and program delivery (supplies, transportation, catering, etc.); special event support.

• Support the Director in managing relationships with external companies and organizations, associated financial agreements, MOUs, timelines, correspondence, etc.
