Post-Doctoral Position in Department of Oncology and Diagnostic Sciences



The Department of Oncology and Diagnostic Sciences at the School of Dentistry, University of Maryland, Baltimore is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow with a new or recent PhD in cell and molecular biology or a related field. Expertise in biochemistry, cell and molecular biology techniques, signal transduction, immunohistochemistry, angiogenesis assays and manipulation of experimental animals is highly desirable. Candidate should have the ability to work independently and be skillful in oral and written research communication. Our laboratory examines the molecular mechanisms regulating pathological angiogenesis and vessel permeability in ischemic retinal diseases (diabetic retinopathy and retinal vein occlusions) and in oral cancer metastasis.
