A postdoctoral position is available immediately to work on the extracellular NAD(P) [eNAD(P)]-mediated immune signaling pathway in Arabidopsis thaliana (see Wang et al. eLife 2017, 6:e25474; Wang et al. Nat Commun 2019, 10:4810). eNAD(P) is a novel immune signaling molecule in plants, which is emerging as a key player in plant immunity. The postdoctoral position is for one year with the possibility of extension. Salary is commensurate with experience (up to $47,470). A full benefits package including health insurance is provided with the position. A doctoral degree in plant molecular biology and/or plant biochemistry is required. Highly motivated individuals with a strong background in plant molecular biology and biochemistry are encouraged to apply. Expertise in plant molecular biology and experience working with protein are required. This position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English as well as excellent writing skills as demonstrated by a strong publication record in peer reviewed high-impact journals.
