Department of Computer Science, 1-Year Teaching Position.
Elon University invites applicants for a Limited Term instructor (one-year, full-time) for the 2021-2022 academic year. Preference will be given to applicants with a graduate degree (MS, PhD, etc.) in Computer Science or a related field. At minimum, applicants must have completed 18 graduate credit hours in Computer Science or a related field.
The Department of Computer Science will assign courses to the hired individual based on relevant experience and expertise. A number of teaching opportunities may be available. Any applicant must be capable of teaching introductory courses in software programming. Applicants should expect to teach 3 course sections in the fall term (mid-August to mid-December) and 3 course sections in the spring term (late January to mid-May), each with an expected enrollment of approximately 30 students.
