The Gannon University's Doctor of Physical Therapy Program located
at the Ruskin, Florida campus seeks a core faculty member to serve
as the Director of Clinical Education (DCE). This full-time,
12-month position begins June 1, 2021. Gannon seeks excellence

groups to apply. Gannon University faculty work collaboratively
with colleagues, deliver instruction, advise students, engage in
scholarship, and participate in service. The DCE works closely with
the Program Director to support administrative and instructional
functions of clinical education. Responsibilities include but are
not limited to recruitment and maintenance of clinical sites;
supervision of clinical sites; training and evaluation of clinical
instructors; and supervision and evaluation of students enrolled in
clinical experiences. Requirements for a tenure track appointment
include an earned advanced post-professional degree (e.g. PhD, EdD
DHSc, etc. by fall 2021) in physical therapy or a related field.
Individuals without an advanced terminal degree will be considered
for a teaching track appointment at the rank Assistant Teaching
Professor; a minimum of a DPT degree is required for a teaching
track appointment. Additional required qualifications include
greater than three (3) years of clinical experience as a physical
therapist, two years as a SCCE and/or CI, and a contemporary
academic curriculum expertise. Preferred qualifications include
three years of teaching experience in a DPT program, record of
scholarship and service, APTA Board Certified Specialist, APTA
Credentialed Clinical Instructor, and a working knowledge of EXAAT.

Bay/St. Petersburg/Bradenton region. The DPT program is housed
