Lethbridge College’s School of Justice Studies is seeking applications for one full-time continuing instructor commencing for the Fall 2021 term. This position will primarily be assigned teaching in the Criminal Justice – Policing program, however, teaching assignments in other programs across the Centre for Justice and Human Services will occur.
We are seeking an instructor who is passionate about teaching and dedicated to supporting students in their educational journey. As a member of the school instructional team, faculty participate in a collaborative teaching environment, and may instruct online courses. Faculty are responsible for curriculum development, all assessments, supporting student recruitment, student retention, participation in program and college level committees, and are encouraged to participate in applied research.

Job Duties Required QualificationsA Master’s degree (Ph.D. preferred) in a relevant discipline is
required.
A minimum of 5 years experience in the field of policing, public
safety, criminal or national intelligence, is required.
Previous instructional experience in a post-secondary setting or
professional setting is required.
Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential and
confidence with the use of technology in the classroom is
required.
Experience which reflects varied and increasing levels of responsibility is beneficial.
