Position Summary:

The Department of Curriculum & Instruction, home to classes related to the design and study of games and other learning environments, seeks a Faculty Associate in Games Education. The Game Design Certificate is at the forefront of an emerging model for teaching undergraduates to design, develop, and think critically about games, learning, and social/societal context. We are seeking a faculty associate to teach about games and game design in the program and to work with the program director to support these undergraduate students.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

PhD (or equivalent) in Games, Learning Sciences, Media Arts, Information Sciences, Computer Science, or related field.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Must have at least 2+ years of experience teaching games and game design at the college level.
