Position Summary:

The Project Program Manager will coordinate the activities and support evaluations for a state-wide COVID-19 vaccine promotion project working collaboratively with community partners, a project of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Prevention Research Center supported by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Education:
- Masters degree in public health, evaluation research, public policy, maternal and child health, social science or related field.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Required Experience:
- Experience collaboratively managing projects within a team environment, including experience setting goals, balancing priorities, managing budgets, and managing against deadlines.
- Knowledge of and experience with program evaluation.
- Evidence of strong organizational, analytical and professional writing skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication and public presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and in a team oriented environment.

Preferred Experience:
- Two (2) years of relevant, program implementation in public health.
- Knowledge of and/or experience implementing evidence based public health interventions using environmental, systems level and policy approaches.
- Experience leading or coordinating diverse groups of stakeholders.
- Experience living in or working with underserved communities.

Desired Attributes:
- Ability to build and sustain external relationships and coordinate the efforts of multiple partners toward a common goal.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and assignments.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain a schedule of tasks and meet deadlines with limited supervision.

Additional Information:

The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring eligibility for employment in the United States on or before the effective date of the appointment.

This is a terminal position lasting one year. There is a possibility it may be extended, or made renewable if there is a need for an ongoing appointment and/or funding becomes available.
