The Departments of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Urology at the University of Florida College of Medicine are currently recruiting candidates committed to providing a high standard of patient care and passionate about advancing the field of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) through teaching and clinical research to join our team as a full-time, non-tenure track Clinical Assistant Professor.

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology clinics serve our community with more than 50,000 patient visits and 3,000 deliveries a year. As a member of a dedicated and multi-disciplinary team, you will provide care as an Urogynecologist / FPMRS at UF Health Shands Hospital, see patients at various clinics, and perform major and minor urogynecologic surgeries. You will be working with and teaching gynecology and urology residents in the clinic and operating room. As an O.R. attending, you also will share responsibility for rotating night and weekend call (two weeknights and one weekend day per month currently), excluding obstetrics and male urology.

The College of Medicine plays an important role in the education of medical students, resident physicians and fellows through its collaboration with the UF Health Physicians practices, UF Health Shands Hospital, and the Malcolm Randall Veterans Affairs Medical Center. As a faculty member in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Urology, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our educational mission by teaching junior medical students, serving on hospital, medical and department committees, and participating in other department activities, including rounds, special lectures and postgraduate courses. In addition, you will apply your experience and insights to a program of clinical research in the area of FPMRS.

Candidates should be Board eligible/certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Urology and eligible for a Florida Medical License. Fellowship training in FPMRS is mandatory.
