Applications are invited for appointment as Lecturer (holding the title of Social Worker) in the Centre on Behavioral Health within the Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref.: 503779), to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Social Sciences or a related discipline with at least 3 years’ relevant teaching experience, and be a registered social worker for at least 7 years. Those with a portfolio of course design, production of teaching materials, and experience in dissertation or clinical work supervision is highly preferred. The appointee will be responsible for teaching, designing and delivering training workshops, seminars, or programmes related to holistic wellness (such as mindfulness, self-compassion, and other forms of holistic health practices). He/ She will also assist in writing proposals or reports for research projects.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
