Title: Adjunct Clinical Instructor- Nursing (Pool)
Position Summary: This position is responsible for
delivering quality instruction in the clinical area.
Duties and Responsibilities: Teach courses via on ground
at the campus or at a clinical site as assigned. May teach clinical
day, evening, or weekend courses as required. Regularly check your
VSCC email. Respond to emails/messages within 48 hours except on
the weekend.
Submit final grades for each semester by the deadline established
by the Registrar.
Complete required College trainings.
Complete all required reports such as attendance, Early Alerts,
progress reports, grade submissions and administer and return
surveys by the required deadlines. Advise the Department Chair at
the earliest possibility if you are unable to teach a class.
Attend meetings as requested by the Department Chair and/or
Dean.
Comply with all of the College's and TBR's policies and
guidelines.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Clinical experience in Maternal, Pediatric, Mental Health, and/or Adult Health Nursing.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Nursing. Collegiate level teaching experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Work Characteristics: Knowledge and/or experience using a variety of instructional delivery modes. Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with a diverse faculty, staff, and student population. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Pay Rate: 650.00 - 775.00 per credit hour

Future teaching assignments are on a term-by-term basis, which may include fall, spring and summer.
