The Menninger Clinic is seeking a Staff Psychologist to join our excellent team of professionals on the Adolescent Treatment Program. The Staff Psychologist is responsible for applying the knowledge, skills, and perspectives of clinical psychology to the services provided at The Menninger Clinic including, but not limited to, assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, consultation, education, training, supervision, research, and administration. This psychologist will provide psychological testing, psychotherapy, and other clinical services within an interdisciplinary team. The Staff Psychologist will also have the opportunity to interact with trainees in psychiatry, psychology, social work, and nursing.
Doctorate degree in clinical or counseling psychology; licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists; demonstrated skill in clinical work; a thorough grounding in diagnostic evaluation and intensive individual psychotherapy; familiarity with a wide range of assessment and treatment modalities; ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams; commitment to education; and current CPR certification. Preferred: two (2) years of post-doctoral training or equivalent experience in clinical psychology; and two (2) years of demonstrated assignments in an interdisciplinary team treatment setting.
