Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for providing data set results to Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Center (GLBRC) submitters using an HPLC and a GC instrument that run on 24/7 basis within the Wisconsin Energy Institute laboratory space. The individual hired must be able to work independently and troubleshoot and fix HPLC and GC issues.

This position offers a great opportunity to learn and grow your skillset as part of a knowledgeable team in a great research envioronment. Technical skills training and the operation of new instrumentation and equipment will be provided as needed.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor of Science degree required. Coursework in chemistry or biological sciences preferred.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Minimum number of 1 year of relevant work experience. Hands-on experience with an HPLC and GC instrument preferred.

Additional Information:

Ability to work independently required; must be self-motivated, dependable, have a good work ethic. Must be available to work an occasional weekend.
