Responsible for the leading, coordinating, and overseeing the department’s social media and Zoom technology for the Extended Learning department. Required Qualifications:
Education and Experience: Position requires an Associate’s Degree or a high school diploma plus a minimum of two years’ full-time experience in a related field.

Knowledge and Skills : Requires basic knowledge of general office practices, procedures, office technology, and computer use. Also requires proficiency in Excel Spreadsheet and Word software, attention to detail, and accuracy of data entry and proofreading. Requires excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing. Ability to meet timelines, track and
complete projects efficiently and effectively. Prefer knowledge and understanding of community education, recreation, corporate training, driver education, special events, or related program development. Prefer knowledge of social media, Google applications, and online registration systems.

Abilities: Requires the ability to perform all of the duties of the position efficiently and effectively. Must be able to operate equipment of the position in a safe manner. Must be able to perform duties in a safe manner. Must be able to prioritize and coordinate work to meet tight schedules and timelines. Must be able to communicate with a wide range of contacts in a manner that generates good public relations and reflects positively on the department and college. Must be able to work respectfully with individuals of all cultures, backgrounds, perspectives, and abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Work is generally performed in a fast-paced office environment with frequent work interruptions or changes in workflow. Occasional lifting, guiding, or carrying of lightweight materials or equipment may be required. Position involves sitting for extended periods while working at a computer terminal and on the telephone. Learned physical skill is required to perform keyboarding functions.

Considerable time is spent working on a computer. Temporary adjustments to work schedule will be periodically required with some weekend and evening work. Must be able to provide own transportation to set up for careers fairs and recruiting events. Essential Duties:
Lead conversations with program staff about relevant content related to specific types of social media, such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

Lead the collection and creation of meaningful social media content, such as instructor and student videos, advertisements, and fliers, for each program in Extended Learning.

Use the social media content to create meaningful posts to engage the local community about Extended Learning classes and training.

Use a social media scheduling tool to organize and schedule social media content to be distributed throughout the day, dependent on the best practices of the specific social media platform.

Collect and analyze social media analytics to prepare and present social media conversion impacts to the Director and lead program staff.

Work with lead program staff and the Director to coordinate Zoom technology for training events and meetings as needed.

Create and facilitate Zoom meetings for all training, meetings, and classes as needed.

Create communications to clients, students, and partners about upcoming Zoom meetings, including, but not limited to, the Zoom link, how to zoom, and answering questions from people about accessing and being successful in a Zoom meeting.

Provides general receptionist duties. Answers telephone, greets the public and provides information about all college classes. Takes messages, refers calls, explains policy and procedures, answers questions and handles routine problems and complaints. Refers significant problems to the Director.
