Assistant Research Officer in the Department of Microbiology (Ref.: 503773) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Microbiology and preferably in Mycobacterium tuberculosis. They should have a license to work inside a BSL-3 laboratory, with prior experience in supervising research assistants and postgraduates. The appointee will work on research projects related to Next Generation Sequencing for Mycobacterium tuberculosis under the supervision of Dr. W.C. Yam.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
