The Gary W. Rollins College of Business at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Management with primary teaching responsibilities in Data Analytics/Management Information Systems . Salary and benefits are competitive with peer institutions. Responsibilities include teaching nine credit hours per semester, research leading to quality refereed journal publications and conference presentations, and service at the Department, College, and/or University level. The Gary W. Rollins College of Business at UTC has long-standing AACSB accreditation at the undergraduate and graduate levels, serves approximately 2,400 students, and has a highly productive, collegial faculty. The Gary W. Rolllins College of Business currently houses a joint Master of Science in Data Analytics program in partnership with the Computer Science Department, an undergraduate concentration in Business Analytics, a 100% online MBA program as well as a flexible MBA program with data analytics concentration, and a graduate level data analytics certificate program.

Qualified applicants must possess or will complete by August 2021, a doctoral degree in Data Analytics/Management Information Systems or closely related field, from an AACSB-accredited business school, as well as a strong research portfolio and demonstrated teaching ability in undergraduate and/or graduate level courses. Proven experience or ability to provide instruction in a variety of modalities including online is required.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in teaching Database Management, Big Data management, Data Analytics and Data Mining courses.
