Title: Cookeville Center Coordinator of Student Services

Position Summary: Coordinate the operations and activities associated with Financial Aid, Veterans Affairs and Adult Learners, Testing, and Student Activities at the Cookeville Center.

Duties and Responsibilities: Processes financial aid requests and answers questions relative to financial aid. Processes requests and answers questions relative to Veterans' Affairs and Adult Learners and/or Veterans' educational benefits. Provides admission and career counseling. Provides personal counseling on a limited basis. Develops and implements crisis management protocol to address various situations with students in crisis. Develops and implements programs and events aimed at student engagement to include but not limited to various student activities. Ensures that students attending classes during evening hours or online have access to student support resources. Schedules and implements new student orientation (Campus Connect). Advises students attending the Cookeville Center, as needed. Coordinates student ID's for VSCC students attending the Cookeville Center. Supervises student workers. Collects admissions information and answers questions relative to admission to the College in the absence of the Admissions Advisor/Recruiter. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications: Master's degree. Three (3) years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in higher education. Experience with Internet Native Banner.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Work Characteristics: Ability to react to change productively. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. Strong oral and written communication skills. Must have analytical skills and attention to detail.

Pay Rate: 36,650.00 - 45,810.00 annual salary depending on experience
