The Director is responsible for enhancing and supervising a robust health services program and a comprehensive student-centered counseling program. In addition to supervising the operations of the Boyd Health Services and Student Counseling Services, the Director provides individual and group counseling, emergency services, substance abuse prevention programs, and human growth and development activities for students. The position reports to the Vice President for Student Affairs.
- Earned Doctorate in Counseling, Psychology, or related field
from an accredited program.
-A minimum of five (5) years of higher education work experience in
a Counseling Center.
-Licensed or eligible for licensure in Tennessee.
– Member of ACCA/ACA
– Experience with electronic health care record systems
-A background check will be required of the successful
applicant.
