The Department of Radiology at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville Radiology and Imaging seeks a Full -time Neuroradiologist with academic focus. Appointment will be at the non-tenure accruing level of Assistant or Associate Professor with 100% neuroradiology specialization under new leadership and new vision. More than 340,000 diagnostic exams performed annually throughout our system. The neuroradiology imaging program encompasses all facets of nearly all MRI, CT, US, and Plain films, with a diverse case mix. State- of- the- art, new CT units and brand new 3T Siemens MRI fleet. There are numerous academic and research opportunities available. The UF COM-JAX department of Radiology is staffed by 31 plus radiologists. We train 5 residents/year with residency complement increase expected in 2022 search opportunities available.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who would be a great fit for our highly collegial team. The Division of Neuroradiology is currently made up of 6 FTEs who all participate in the neuroradiology call pool. The faculty member will work closely with the Section Chief and Chair. Responsibilities include interpretation of neuroradiology studies, providing clinical consultations, overseeing multidisciplinary conferences, teaching residents, and pursuing scholarly activity.

The University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville is the largest of the three UF colleges - medicine, nursing and pharmacy - located on the approximately 110-acre UF Health Jacksonville campus. The college's 16 clinical science departments house more than 400 faculty members and 300 residents and fellows. The college offers 32 accredited graduate medical education programs. In addition to graduate medical education, clinical rotations in all the major disciplines are provided for students from the UF College of Medicine in Gainesville.

Candidates must be MD/DO. Must also be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology and completed a neuroradiology fellowship. Candidates must be eligible for or possess a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in neuroradiology. No interventional procedures are required. Candidates must be able to obtain a license to practice medicine in the state of Florida and meet the qualifications for a full time faculty position at the University of Florida. The candidate should demonstrate a commitment to teaching and to providing high-quality care and service in neuroradiology. Non-clinical time will be provided for administrative, academic, and research activities.
