ENOLOGY and VITICULTURE FACULTY, FT TENURE TRACK – Starting Fall 2021:
Primary teaching responsibilities will include day & evening classes in the Viticulture and Wine Technology program. Introduction to Wines and Vines (VIT 100), Introduction to Enology Lab Techniques (VIT 115), Enology I and II (VIT 210 and 215), Summer Vineyard Technology Practicum (VIT 110), Vineyard Management (VIT 200), Fall Wine Technology Practicum (VIT 205). MS degree required in Enology and or related field (e.g. Viticulture, Wine making) with teaching/ professional experience highly desired. Demonstrated ability to create a positive learning atmosphere required. College-level teaching experience & experience working collaboratively to develop engaging course curriculum preferred. Professional experience in the wine industry will be considered for this technical field.
The Environmental Conservation and Horticulture Department is a team of invested instructors who are passionate about empowering students with the tools needed for success in a conservation field.
