The School of Business invites applications for a faculty position in marketing. The selected individual will teach marketing courses in undergraduate, graduate, and continuing studies programs. The individual is also expected to conduct research in his/her area of specialization and write grants. Other responsibilities include student advisement and serving on University and School of Business Committees. Applicant will be required to adjust teaching strategies for students using wide variety of techniques that includes simulations and tools for business analytics.

QUALIFICATIONS: A doctorate degree in the respective discipline with experience in teaching and research is required. ABD candidates with expected completion date by Summer 2021 may be considered. A doctorate degree in a business-related field with 18 hours of graduate marketing courses are encouraged to apply. Master’s Degree in Marketing are encourage to apply for non-tenured track.

SALARY: Salary and rank are commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Roughly 25 percent of Claflin’s 2,100 full-time undergraduate students are enrolled in the following concentrations and/or majors offered by the School of Business: Accounting, Finance, General Business, Management and Marketing, and Organizational Management. A commitment to Claflin’s intellectual and teaching mission is required.
