Job Description

The Residential Learning Coordinator (RLC) for Oak Lane is responsible for coordinating all building and community aspects of a on-campus residential community; create a student community oriented towards that academic and social development of residents; hire, train and supervise paraprofessional staff to create a safe and inclusive environment focused on wellbeing, academic and social success, and a well-maintained community; perform administrative duties congruent with maintaining community standards, facility and occupancy management, and a safe and secure environment.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in college student affairs or related field conferred by time of appointment to position. The successful candidate should also demonstrate the ability to work with a diverse student body and foster sensitivity to diversity issues in the University community; demonstrate strong administrative and organizational skills; possess the ability to form positive relationships with multiple campus and community partners.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with a fraternity and sorority community/ population and /or working in residence life/ housing operations; experience with training, teaching and leadership development; demonstrate an understanding of the complex landscape and issues involved in the fraternity and sorority community/ population. demonstrate the ability to successfully engage in conflict and have difficult conversations.
