Adjunct Faculty - Instructor of Bands

Aurora University seeks talented adjunct faculty who are passionate about teaching and learning. Adjunct faculty are qualified part-time instructors offered teaching opportunities based on course demand and staffing.

Aurora University seeks a part time instructor in band. The AU Band does both concert band literature as well as supports athletics as a pep band to begin Fall 2021.

A master’s degree in music and experience in conducting bands and athletic bands is required.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic instructor willing to challenge and support non-majors and music minors alike toward growth and excellence. Assistance in building the band program through recruiting and making the AU Band visible on campus is part of the job description.

Collegiality is highly valued in the Aurora University Music Department.
