About the Opportunity:
The School of Nursing invites applications from highly-motivated candidates for a full-time tenured position. This is an academic year, benefits-eligible position as Associate/Full Professor in the School of Nursing commensurate with the candidate's qualifications.
Responsibilities include having a strong program of research supported by external funding, participation in the development, instruction, and evaluation of baccalaureate through doctoral courses, and academic advising. The School seeks candidates whose research, teaching, and service reflect an integration of diversity and inclusion. Candidates should be prepared to provide evidence of how their research, teaching, and service have prepared them to contribute to the commitment to diversity and inclusion. The incumbent is expected to fully participate in School of Nursing and Bouve College of Health Sciences faculty meetings and serve on faculty committees. The anticipated start date for this position is the 2021 - 2022 academic year.
Qualifications require evidence of an established area of research and scholarship, teaching excellence in graduate through doctoral courses, demonstrated excellence and commitment to supporting a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment. The candidate should have a PhD in Nursing or related field and eligibility for RN licensure in Massachusetts by the appointment start date.
