Two positions are available.

The Department of Information Systems, Analytics and Operations (ISAO) at the University of Louisville’s College of Business seeks qualified applicants for full-time, teaching-intensive faculty positions (non-tenure track) to begin August 1, 2021. Expected teaching load is 4/4 (24 credit hours per year). Appointment will be at the rank of instructor or assistant professor; dependent upon academic credentials and experience. The successful candidates will teach undergraduate courses in information systems and data analysis topics. There may be opportunities to teach MBA or MS in Business Analytics courses depending upon expertise and interest.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess a master’s degree in information systems, computer science or a closely related field. A Ph.D. in one of the listed areas is required for appointment as assistant professor. Candidates ideally will have experience teaching at a university level. Teaching experience should include technical skills such as object-oriented programming, database management, and information system project development. The ability to develop and teach online courses will also be a strong consideration.
