The program seeks applicants with experience or training enabling them to serve in the roles of Director of Clinical Training, Practicum Coordinator, or Associate Chair. Antioch University Seattle’s well-regarded CMHC program is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling & Related Educational Programs (CACREP). Successful applicants will possess a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision or equivalent doctoral degree in a related field (ABD will be considered.  PhD must be in hand at time of Full-time Faculty appointment) with proven history of active participation in the counseling profession (counselor licensure, national counselor credential, active member of ACA and/or its divisions/branches), including strong training and experience with social justice and multicultural competency in counseling.  Must be qualified for graduate teaching, supervision, including telehealth supervision, and independent research. Ideal candidates will have the ability to teach in two or more of the following courses: multicultural counseling, family systems, counseling theory, research methods, and assessment (with a mental health emphasis), group counseling, grief counseling, career counseling, professional identity, ethics, telehealth counseling, practicum/internship and consultation. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. CMHC has a residential and low residential program. This position is primarily located within the residential program and the successful candidate will be expected to meet with students as scheduled on our Downtown Seattle campus, but all faculty work together to support both programs.
