Job Summary

The Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Human Resources completes a broad variety of administrative tasks including managing calendars; expense reports; correspondence; travel plans. The Executive Assistant also assists in researching, prioritizing and following up on issues as well as providing a bridge for smooth communication.

The Executive Assistant works closely with the Vice President of Human Resources to ensure information of upcoming commitments and responsibilities are shared and understood. This is a leadership position that will build relationships crucial to the success of the College and will manage a variety of special projects, some of which may have organizational impact.

The Executive Assistant will complete critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, prioritize conflicting needs, attend to matters expeditiously, follow through on projects to successful completion, set up accounts, reconcile ledgers, gather data, verifies requests for goods and services and funding sources, develops and provides promotional materials and coordinates with other departments to complete work.

Required Qualifications

Associate's degree in Business Administration or other relevant field of study. Experience may substitute for degree
5 years' executive administrative support experience

Experience in an academic environment
