Individual will serve as department receptionist (backup), answering multiple lines promptly, handling all mail pick-up and deliveries
Requires access to eVA and Banner Finance for creating purchase orders and receiving invoices; therefore, successful completion of the required training will be needed
Will assist, create, and handle mass mailings, order supplies, maintain office equipment, and maintain files for the office
Responsible for conference room calendar and will be the back up scheduler for the Associate Vice President for FMD and the Director of Staff Operations
Prepare equipment for conference room meetings when requested
Provide great customer service when visitors enter the suite and also incoming/outgoing phone calls
May sometimes be called to fill in and assist other departments within Facilities Management when needed
Must have excellent communication skills, typing, and filing skills
Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience using an email system; preferably Google Mail
Ability to operate general office equipment
Must be able to work under pressure or fast paced at times
Able to meet deadlines when necessary
