The candidate chosen for this position will primarily engage in conducting research, editing reports, engaging with clients, providing direction related to workforce projects, and related tasks with the Performance Management Group ( PMG ) which is housed within the L. Douglas Wilder School’s Center for Public Policy.
The chosen candidate will work under the supervision of the Associate Director of the Performance Management Group and in collaboration with other PMG team members.
The chosen candidate will need to demonstrate a great deal of independence.

Required Qualifications

Extensive knowledge of and national experience with issues related to workforce, strong proven analytic skills, excellent writing skills, and effective interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong connections with leaders in workforce in a variety of states is highly desirable.
