The Department of English, Humanities, and Philosophy at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas, invites applications for a Lecturer in English beginning fall 2021. The appointment is for nine months, full time. The position carries a 4/4 teaching load consisting mainly of freshman composition classes. The position will require both online and on-campus teaching. Required qualifications include an MA or PhD in English or Composition and Rhetoric; experience teaching first-year composition at the college level, preferably in an interdisciplinary setting; and experience teaching fully online courses.
