Job Description:
Graduate Programs in the School of Behavioral Sciences and Education at York College of Pennsylvania is seeking applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the area of Educational Leadership. The successful candidate will possess K-12 experience and background in one or more of the graduate specialization areas offered within the School of Behavioral Sciences and Education. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and/or graduate level courses each semester. Course assignments will align with the successful candidate's area(s) of expertise and the curriculum needs of the college.
This position includes supervisory expectations for one or more of the graduate specialization programs offered by the School of Behavioral Science and Education. The successful candidate will also assist the Director of Graduate Programs in the School of Behavioral Sciences and Education in program development, marketing, maintaining program accreditation, data tracking and reporting, and graduate student advisement.

Requirements:
- Earned doctoral degree in an education, curriculum and instruction, or a related discipline.
- Valid state educator certification.
- At least 3 years of successful classroom teaching at the K-12 level.
- Hold K-12 Principal or supervision certificate
- Evidence of school or program leadership experience
- Evidence of scholarship potential commensurate with attaining tenure.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Growth mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- College-level teaching experience.
- Capacity for teaching in blended and online modalities.
- Significant program development experience.
