Honolulu, HI Campus

  • WEAX 201 - Meteorology
  • ENGL 106 - Introduction to Composition


San Diego, CA Campus

  • PHYS 102 - Exploration in Physics
  • MATH 106 - Basic Algebra
  • MATH 111 - Pre-Calculus for Aviation
  • MATH 112 - Applied Calculus for Aviation


San Francisco, CA Campus

  • RSCH 202 - Introduction to Research Methods
  • STAT 211 - Statistics with Aviation Applications


Seattle, WA Campus

  • ECON 210 - Microeconomics
  • MATH 112 - Applied Calculus for Aviation
  • STAT 211 - Statistics with Aviation Applications


Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates who possess the following qualifications:

  • Terminal degree in the field of expertise
  • Verifiable professional experience in the subject discipline
  • Contemporary experience working in the aviation/aerospace industry


We are especially interested in applicants who hold a terminal degree (Ph.D., DBA, JD, etc.) in the area in which they desire to teach and who have direct experience related to the course content.

Individuals finishing their doctoral work or holding a Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the related discipline and demonstrated teaching experience may be considered. (Note: We cannot consider applicants who do not have the minimum of an earned Master’s degree).

Applicants must complete all questions on the application prior to their submission being reviewed.

**Once hired, adjunct instructors are contracted to teach course-by-course and term-by-term. There is no guarantee that a course contract will be offered; it is dependent on the needs of the university. If an instructor has not been offered a course contract and/or has not taught within 2 years, they will automatically be moved to an inactive status in our system, and will be required to reapply if they desire to gain active status again.**
